I keep logging into livinglifeinmotion and thinking “gosh, I miss using this blog so much” and who is to say that I can’t start using it again? No one. So I will. Could I be anymore confusing? So, that’s that. It’s decided. I’m moving back to livinglifeinmotion.
When will I learn that tumblr eats posts at the most inopportune times? ROAR! Just had a lengthy post typed out. I’m tired and don’t feel like getting into all of it again so I’ll just talk about the most important parts.
I’ve got no more excuses. No more competing priorities. No more distractions. No more ailments (dry socket healed!).
1.) I joined the DO LIFE DietBet today. Time to be active and eat healthy and in that lost 9.8 pounds (or more!) by my birthday.
2.) I purchased a FitBit Flex earlier this week… loving it so far. I’m excited to use it to challenge myself. Time to get to it!
3.) I’m finally recovered from the exhaustion of grad school. Time to apply to some jobs. All the jobs.
I’ve honestly got NOTHING else to do than to get serious again. I’m excited to start the process again. Setbacks suck but I did it to myself and it’s time to prove to myself that I can and I will get this right.
Such a continual process.
you are beautiful
Well thank you, anon. Even though I can’t see what you look like, I just know you are too— the best kind of beautiful!
So I went back to the Oral Surgeon today and turns out all of my pain the past week was due to the fact that I was one of the luckier ones who get their wisdom teeth removed because I developed a dry socket.
I seriously never wish that pain on anyone, ever. Thankfully soon after they packed it the piercing ear and teeth pain alleviated and the feeling of having a vice tightening around the temples abated. Unfortunately, the pain relief comes with the cost of the constant taste of cloves. Turns out, I don’t particularly enjoy the taste of cloves but it sure as hell beats all that pain.
Another big plus is that I’ve only had some motrin so far today, which means I’m no longer walking around like a zombie goon.
IN OTHER NEWS
I think I’ve decided I want a fitbit flex. Who has one? Who likes it? Who doesn’t like it? Help me out, friends!
I searched and searched and searched stores today for one but NO ONE had it in stock… but now that I’ve gotten home I’ve read a lot of reviews that aren’t all that positive. There are Targets in the area that say they have them in stock— just not the ones I went to today.
I want to hear what you guys have to say about it before I buy one, though.
Ready, set, review!
